Our Mission

ITIIP (Inclusive Trade through Innovation and Investment Platform), Association Law 1901, aims to develop entrepreneurship and job creation in the Pacific, especially for young people, women, tribes, by strengthening trade relations between small island states of the Pacific, through innovation and joint investment.

Currently, intra-Pacific Island trade represents only 6.5% of trade in the area, against 24% in sub-Saharan Africa for example. Intra-Pacific trade is an economic lever to develop the Pacific small island states’ economies, which represent a market of 10 million people, which could benefit to local entrepreneurs.

The development of fair regional value chains exploiting niche sectors could stimulate the development of the small island states economies, which suffer from the lack of diversification of their productive systems and from the narrow base on which their incomes are seated.

ITIIP uses international good practices of social, environmental and economic innovations to strengthen the economic actors’ capacity to trade.

ITIIP mobilizes high-level international experts from the private sector, notably in the field of social impact investment, financing and development of social enterprises, digital and data, agro-industrial processing, fair tourism and organic farming.

ITIIP is an apolitical organization that strives to ensure the neutrality of its governance.
